i tell you, when i saw the post i was on the threshold of blacking out, i'm not kidding. i was this close to being found by CSI starkers in my bedroom with nothing but newgrounds on my laptop and the snes remix of numa numa on repeat.

this post isn't for my fans, its for the people that are going to be pissed when they see the post and think
"who is this lucky &$*@ that gets a free tablet with only one submission and a COLLABORATION no less."

i didn't think i had a chance of winning when i saw the recent trend. kids that started at 13 with already a dozen submissions under their belt. my angle has always been art though (if my banner and icon wasn't a clue), only just recently have i been able to enter the world of flash. I've always wanted to, but never had the bucks for the program, and was far too sheepish to download...discreetly.. i'm fantastically excited, and i'll get right into the clutter of flashes i've only partially finished because my tablet died.

oh, and cuz i love you all so much, i'm inserting (if i can figure it out) the screencap that i included with the original pm to tom of the one of my projects i'm doing, it be of my precious turtle Carretta. whom doesn't give a lick about my jubilation right now and wants her shrimp-flavored ashy treats in the shape of fish.
why fish?
she's only five inches long, she's not catching any fish.....

and if you really want to see something in flash that i've done - ANYTHING - there's a lil birthday flash i made for Fawx. it's an incredibly esoteric intellectual piece that was well thought out over the span of....

ok i made it in less than five hours before my tablet kacked.....

now that i have a shiny new hope in my future, i've got so many ideas i want to come to fruition. i just have to hope that while i wait for my tablet to arrive, people aren't thinking i've forgotten completely and got away with murder. i wish i could start on em right now

i'm surprised that there haven't been more art-based users winning though. it seems like the winners of the last tablet giveaway were more devoted to illustrating and then getting into flash, not vice versa. but it is a good feeling to give a tablet to someone who's never had one before and seeing their art jump like that.
