Brush up on anatomy, rly? I guess that makes sense, it would provide a better foundation for pursuing more outlandish things later on. The annubis character you did recently looks perfect (easy to look at, no homo), though, could his shoulders and arms get that beefy, while his pectoral muscles remain a little on the skimpy side? No shame in drawing what you'd like ;)
yeah those pictures were the start of my using reference. it is difficult as aside from faces, very rarely am i able to copy a pose directly. i often have to sew bits together from pictures- or more likely, focus on one area and guess what connects to it based on what i've drawn from different angles in the past. its not like ye olden days when they had live models.. google image giveth and yet taketh away. i am pretty much drawing what i like though.
Makes sense, I hadn't considered that! Wait, did Google once have live nude models? If they did, it was likely a long time ago, before they got all corporate and greedy (owned YouTube, made G+)
