just a quick update, i'm abroad at the moment while still working full up on projects i left back home so i'm not sure if i'll be able to accept the kindly invites of commissions i received in my last post. thanks much you guys and i'm sorry i never write appropriate timelines on the gaps when i'm available. that being said, its always cool to pm me if you have any ideas/requests/stuff to negotiate but i'm sorry if i wasn't very responsive last month.

of course my home be newgroundz so i'll always try to keep this as up to date as possible.

i need to make sum dollars fast and relatively commitment free. hopefully legal. any ideas? i need to earn about $150, is there anything you guys think would be worth selling based on the kind of stuff in my gallery, prints, tees, sculpture, foul plushies, or hell, non-art objects. i just cleaned out my dvds/vidya games to amazon.com and i'm eagerly parting with worldly goods at CRAAAAZZZY deals.

top contenders for non-arts (what etsy calls vintage!!!) include such gems as a 3 foot bin of lego, 2 buckets of latex, and a few shreds of sanity.

so yeah guys. i've been busy

Since late August i've been sculpting/casting/painting masks for the Milburnses to do a photoshoot for about a dozen of NG's most prolific characters (there are far more included in the book, dozen being the ones that need masks), and i'm REALLY GETTING TIRED of stick figures people. Not everybody has a perfect sphere for a head y'know. BUT ANYWAY yeah, its good to finally get commissioned for this kind of work as its only been hobby-status with me for a long time. Hopefully in the future i'll have even more positive updates on my creature making ventures, woot woot.

in the meantime, i'd like a new rug please.

If people are puzzled though, this time i ONLY coloured in the frames of animation for him, and drew the STARBARIANS logo. which is why that looks shit. he did all the gorgeous backgrounds, from starfields to heartbeds. so go send him your love. after you wash your hands

in other news, i know i've reduced my gallery somewhat, and i've been pretty sparse with actual art updates, but at the moment i'm preoccupied with a rather hefty project for Newgrounds. Up until december in fact. I cant promise future updates will be any less vague.

in other other news, i'ma try to at least submit a lil' sumthin sumthin for the calender contest. i haven't figured out how to subtly put penises in it yet.

More than myself being featured, i'm really thrilled that the Starbarians are. its going to be surreal seeing them in the printed form. honestly i hope Harry will make epykk blacklight velvet art of them someday so this is THE FIRST STEP.

man. England didn't feel like a holiday, it felt like home. its really surreal to be back in America now, like i'm stuck in a very bland expansive waiting room of life, reading People magazines and sitting next to corpulent whiteys trying to mask their coughs as if they meant to wheeze through the chorus of Kenny Roger's the Gambler.

I'm really grateful to Newgrounds for encouraging their UK following by making London an annual meet. With no convention(al) reason to visit there yearly, it really shows how much fun the regulars just keep having. and how far an excuse to get pissing drunk will invite people. but if you're a younger user, dont let that alienate you. i ditched early but otherwise the main day of the meet (on any meet that i've been to really) has always been pretty good to being open for any age. For the london meets, it means a day beginning at the London Eye and the Namco Arcade, and takes off from there. But i'm a crusty old-fashioned lot. i sit hunched in corners in dark rooms at dark tables, smiling uncharacteristically bright on the inside. I was privileged enough to run with the high-rolling crew of HappyHarry(Barry Cartridge) and Oney(Christine McSqueill) and since i've got to start the obligatory name dropping anyway, here's a beefy(well, for me) list of everyone i personally minced words with:

Luis (benevolent meet organizer and drink-giverer)
Sean Kiely (member of oney's Untouchables, otherwise known as Satan)
Jack (somebody give me a profile link if he's got one, otherwise known as other guy from oney's other friends otherwise too good for newgrounds)

the meet was lovely. some people go to talk business and projects, others to talk about the latest phallic frontpage collab, and still others to just sit/sip back and soak in the logo tees. if you have any desire to hit the places NG goes to and any kind of voyeuristic tendency to peer at basement dwellers in actual sunlight - do it. i can't stress it enough. without the userbase frantically clicking on those sidebar ads, NG wouldn't be able to do any of this. the least you can do is head to these gatherings and rub their faces in it.
i may write more specifically about what i did in london, or elsewhere i visited in england and the manner of TOP SECRET NEWGROUNDS PROJECTS i've started since then with other vastly more interesting parties on NG. but there's a cat on my arm right now..
she's happy.
